One person has been confirmed dead in a building collapse on Freeman Street, Lagos Island.
This is coming few days after a three-storey building collapsed at Ebute Metta, Lagos Mainland killing no fewer than 10 persons.
It was learnt that the two-storey building which was under construction came down during a heavy rainfall in the area.
The Lagos Territorial Head of the National Emergency Management Agency, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the incident.
“One rescued alive and one died. Responders are on the way,” he said.
