Covid-19 : Nigerians Drag MTN, Airtel, 9mobile, others over expensive data price

In the wake of the stay at home order issued by the presidency in order to curb the spread of a global pandemic, Covid-19, Nigerians have called out all telecommunications company over data price.

Nigerians have shown their grief and have begged that the price of data be cut down in order to allow people stay online in the midst of the crisis everyone is facing.

This is coming after a UK Based telecommunication company gave her customers a free one month of unlimited data due to the stay home order given to the citizens over there too.

Amongst the companies called out by Nigerians, especially on twitter, MTN, Airtel and 9mobile took the lead as they are reportedly the companies with the highest price of data.

They were also accused of cheating because a subscription that is supposed to last for a month don’t exceed 3 days.

It is worthy of being noted that Covid-19, A deadly virus that has caused the whole world to be on pause at the moment is the reason lots of companies closed down. Several important personalities have contracted the disease. The likes of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Governor Nasir El Rufai, Abba Kyari, to mention a few.
