A man named Adebayo Majeobaje Isaac, 40 has narrated how a female Facebook friend, Christabel Odey Shekels, 30 ran away with his money and valuables.
Adebayo said he had been chatting with Shekels on the social media platform for over two years before she eventually paid him a visit at his 6, Oshifuye Street, Mushin resident on Friday.
The suspect thereby ran away with the victim’s N450,000 cash, a laptop worth N200,000, two Smart Phones, 450kg of Semo, 4 Liters of Groundnut Oil, 4 Liters of Palm Oil, Toothbrush and Hand Towels.
Adebayo said that, “at least we’ve been chatting for over two years, and I have never found her wanting.
“I met Christabel Odey Shekele on a dating site called tinder and we have been friends for almost two years and had been trying to come to my house but I never allowed her.
“I just said let me just give her a chance only for Christabel Odey Shekele to come to my house and made a transfer of N450k from my account to her Opay Account 9092700390 while I was asleep, never knew she had transfer my money.She also took along my Laptop worth of N200,000, N450kg of Semo, 4 Liters of Groundnut Oil, 4 Liters of Palm Oil, Toothbrush, Hand Towels.
“She transferred from my Sterling Bank Account to one Uchenne Cynthia Onyagbara.
“The POS she transferred the remaining part of the money to is Uche Venture. She came at about 8pm and left about 6:30am the following day. I never knew she had ripped me off,” he concluded.
