Presidency Denies Proposal Of N105,000 As Minimum Wage For Nigerian Workers




TRIXX NG reports that the Nigerian presidency has denied receiving a proposal of N105,000 as minimum wage from the minister of finance, Wale Edun.

In a statement this afternoon, a spokesperson for President Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga stated that the information about the proposal is false.

‘’The Honorable Minister of Finance and coordinating minister of the economy, Wale Edun has not proposed N105,000 minimum wage. The contrary story being disseminated is false.’’

This is coming few hours after several online publication insinuated that the honorable minister submitted the said amount in response to the President’s directives on a new minimum wage template.
