There is currently an uproar on the social media scene after Okrika dresses, which of course are second hand dresses are being sold for N5,000 by online fashion vendors.

It has sparked several reactions as people who are very conversant with the Okrika dresses offline have expressed displeasure over the price of the commodities.

To worsen it, the vendors made it known that their materials are not ordinary Okrika(Second hand clothes) but ‘Thrift’ (Second hand clothes worn by big men and women).

Although its not something too serious, Nigerians have laughed it off, and made it known that there is nothing like thrift clothes anywhere, and Okirika clothes doesn’t cost more than N1,000 offline.

The statement ‘Na mumu dey go boutique’ has been used to discredit the online vendors of Okrika clothes, explaining that Okrika clothes are meant to be far cheaper.
