24 Hours After Buhari Returned, Nigeria’s Finance Minister Lands In Fresh Crisis

TRIXX NG reports that the minister of finance, Zainab Ahmad has landed in fresh crisis just 24 hours after President Buhari returned from London.

At the moment, she is currently being dragged on social media for ‘lying’ about the allegations made by Governor Godwin Obaseki that the federal government printed N60 Billion in March to support allocation to states.

The finance minister had earlier said Obaseki wasn’t saying the right thing, while describing his allegations as false.

However, the central bank of Nigeria has spoken about the issue and revealed that printing of money is a way they lend to the Nigerian government.

She is now being called out for putting up a false defense for the federal government, even as Governor Obaseki stood on his ground in the allegation
