Popular Nigerian Musician To Feature On ‘The Daily Show With Trevor Noah’
Popular musician and DMW boss, Davido will on Wednesday feature on ‘The Daily Show with Trevor Noah’, MTV has announced.
Communications Manager of MTV Entertainment Group, Lauren Woulard said this in a statement.
This follows the appearance of Grammy award-winning Burna Boy on the show on August 13, 2019.
“We are excited to share that Nigerian-American artist, producer & label CEO, Davido, will join Trevor Noah for an in-depth interview on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” tonight at 11PM ET/PT,” the statement reads in part.
The statement hinted Davido will chat about his recently released third studio album, “A Better Time”.
It also disclosed the single father of two will share the inspiration behind “his unique and infectious Afrobeats sound.”
The Daily Show has played host to most influential government, arts, philanthropy, sports and cultural leaders and advocates including current president of the United States of America, Joe Biden, his vice, Kamala Harris; Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
Dr. Anthony Fauci has appeared three times since the beginning of the pandemic.
Gabrielle Union; Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman; ten-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony; LeVar Burton; and Minister of Health for Trinidad & Tobago has joined Trevor in conversation among others.
