JUST IN: Man Confesses To killing Vanguard Reporter Tordue Salem
Trixx NG reports a hit-and-run driver, Itoro Clement has confessed to knocking down the missing Vanguard reporter, Tordue Salem.
The hit-and-run driver said he knocked down the reporter at the Mabushi area on October 13 and sped off.
He stated this while being paraded by the police at the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) premises, Guzape, Abuja.
The Force Public Relations Officer, CP Frank Mba, also spoke at the press conference.
Mba said the driver with Camry Toyota 2014, registration number Abuja BWR 243 BK, hit Salem and ran without reporting the incident to Police.
He added that Salem’s body was discovered at the Wuse General Hospital.
Vanguard had on Thursday reported that Salem was found dead.
Salem, a house of representatives correspondent, was declared missing after he was last seen on October 13.
