Police Stand By As NURTW Clash In Lagos, Many Injured, Cars Destroyed (Video)
TRIXX NG reports that two factions of the National Union of Road Transport Workers ( NURTW), clashed in the Iyana Iba area of Lagos on Wednesday 28, 2022 leaving many injured and many vehicles destroyed.
In now viral clips online, men of the Nigerian Police Force stood at the side without taking any action as the members of the association, used dangerous weapons, daggers, machetes, charms and broken bottles against themselves.
According to reports, trouble started in the evening when the two factions; one loyal to the former leader of their former boss and another to their new boss engaged themselves in a battle of supremacy.

However, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirming that crisis said,” One person was injured and he is receiving treatment in the hospital. No life was lost,and the police have moved in to the place. No arrest has been made, but normalcy has returned to the place”.
