BREAKING! Why We Invaded Seun Kuti’s House – Lagos Police Reveal
TRIXX NG reports that Lagos police have confirmed the invasion of embattled musician, Seun Kuti’s house yesterday after the court granted him bail.
This online publication reported earlier that the police stormed the musician’s house in search of more evidence to nail him.
The PPRO of the Lagos police command, SP Ben Hundeyin has revealed that some things were found on Seun Kuti and there was need to prove or disprove them and which informed the decision of the police to search the musician’s home.
He mentioned that they got a search warrant from the court and the investigation is still going on.
See his statement below
In the course of our investigation, we stumbled on certain suspicious things that needed to be proven/disproved beyond reasonable doubt. We, therefore, applied for and duly got a search warrant from the court, which we have executed. Investigation continues.
