Adekoya Empowers Constituency Through ICT Training In Dubai
Reps Deputy Minority Whips, Adekoya Facilitates Training of youths on Information Communications Technology In Dubai
As part of efforts to build the capacity and skills of youths in the Society, which is the entrepreneurial drive of the 21st Century, Rt. Hon. Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya, member representing Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency at the National Assembly has facilitated the training of not less than twenty (20) youths on Information and Communication Technology in United Arab Emirates UAE.
The training was facilitated by Rt. Hon. Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya, the Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives while the youth were carefully selected cutting across Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside federal constituency.
Meanwhile, The one-week training programme kicked off on Monday, 14th of November, 2022 and will be ending on Friday, November 18th, while the youths are expected to departed Nigeria for United Arab Emirates on Sunday, November 13th.
The training is continuation of the Deputy Minority Whip’s human capital development initiatives that have mould numerous youths and women through skills acquisition, human capital development while they get their working equipment, start up capital, among others free of charge.
It could be recalled that recently, over 100 women were trained and empowered with complete make-up kits as well as Campala Adire making in Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency.
Similarly, the Deputy Minority Whip sponsored the construction of Block of 3 classrooms at Moslem Primary, Isapodo, Ijebu-Ife; construction of a block of 4 classrooms with furnitures at St. Roses Primary School, Tekule village, Awa-Ijebu, construction of Ako community centre, Ako-Matoole, Ago-Iwoye; construction of concrete drainage at Ijala stream, Ode-omi, Ogun Waterside; provision of boreholes and solar electricification at several areas in his constituency; supply and installation of 500KvA transformer at Idi-scale, Atikori, Ijebu-Igbo; construction of Ijebu-Igbo heritage center (Orimolusi Palace), construction of Imushin-Ajina shopping mall, youths and women employment and empowerments; with several other projects ongoing.
