Despite the public outcry of rigging against the ruling party in the just concluded presidential elections, some governorship candidates of the All progressive congress are still hell-bent on manipulating the governorship election coming up on Saturday, 11th Of March, 2023 in their favour.

Among these people is the governorship candidate of the APC in Taraba, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha who emerged in a very controversial manner.

There are intelligent reports that Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has perfected plans to rig the governorship election in his favour after obviously seeing that he isn’t the people’s choice. He has reportedly held meetings with officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and paid millions of dollars to enable them to assist him rig the election.

Unfortunately, the INEC resident electoral commissioner in the state has been compromised and already promised to assist the senator rig the election against the people’s will. It was also reliably gathered that INEC ad-hoc staff have been settled already and this is why Senator Bwacha isn’t working hard on his campaigns; He is relying on the support of INEC to get him victory fraudulently.

Apart from the INEC aspect, Senator Bwacha has allegedly employed a series of thugs to impersonate police officers during the election and cause a security upset that will favour him in the election. He intends to use his influence as a serving senator to manipulate the system and also get financial aids from his politician friends within the ruling party for the purpose of votes buying

It was also alleged that Senator Bwacha has bought a house in Dongo Local government to store manipulated BVAS devices which will be used to perpetrate his acts in the election.

Senator Bwacha, according to the reports, is doing all these because he isn’t the people’s favourite having spent years in the national assembly without doing any life-changing project for his people.

We are calling on the police to take the Taraba state governorship election seriously even if it entails changing the commissioner of police days before the election.
