BREAKING! APC Picks Senator Ken Nnamani As 2023 Presidential Candidate

That South-East APC Presidency Project 2023, through South-East APC Integrity Group, has selected Distinguished Senator Ken Nnamani, GCON, former President of the Nigerian Senate and former Chairman of Nigeria’s National Assembly, is no longer news.

Today’s news is that a few South-East APC persons called me today (06-08-2021), one full day after Senator Ken Nnamani’s selection was made public, still expressing their personal interest in contesting for President of Nigeria on APC platform.

I say to such individuals, stop before you hurt yourselves and the quest of South-Southerners and non-South-Easterners alike for President Buhari’s successor to come from the South-East.

South-East APC Presidency Project 2023 is a collective Project which supersedes any personal ambition. From 2015 to January 2020 to now, we have made that point very clearly.

A special appeal is here reserved for South-Southerners who are Muslims or who pride themselves as having special relationships with Muslims and non-South-Easterners. Yes, personal relationships are important, but they must not be used personally, selfishly or maliciously against anyone else. And it should not be a sole advantageous basis for anyone to want to become President of Nigeria.

We know we have many real and presumed Alhajis who are from the South-East and who are of APC, but the choice of who represents South-East in what will be a hard-fought presidential contest on APC platform must not be because of anyone’s personal religious preference or personal relationships.

And no South-Easterner must be seen or heard anywhere using religious affiliation or personal relationships against our preferred presidential aspirant.

Instead of personal ambition or divisiveness of any kind, all South-East APC members are urged to rally round Senator Ken Nnamani and South-East APC Presidency Project 2023.

We have a lot of work to do henceforth. We must beef up our structures in Abuja and all 36 states of Nigeria. We must speed up action on voters sensitization and mobilization. We must engage would-be delegates to APC presidential primary convention.

We must be seen across Nigeria canvassing for support for the South-East and our preferred presidential aspirant. Really, we have lost some time and must not waste more time on frivolities. Support the Project and our preferred presidential aspirant.

After we have won both primary and the general election, all will be accommodated in the Ken Nnamani-led Presidency of Nigeria. We cannot all become President, but President of Nigeria of South-East extraction will cater to all our needs.

It is better that than being used by anyone or anything to divide the 70% votes at primary election and 50 million votes at general election with which we want to win.

Our campaign is ultimately to usher in a glorious era of security, peace, unity and prosperity in Nigeria and for all Nigerians. Support the Project and our preferred presidential aspirant, Senator Ken Nnamani, GCON.

When next some persons call, let it be to tell us that they have foregone their personal ambition and to tell us what accommodation they want in our campaign project and the next Federal Government.

Let it not be to pass unreasonable and selfish comments on our preferred presidential aspirant or to tell us stories of individuals they know as reasons for them wanting to become president.

We all must approach 2023 with a mindset totally different from that of all the past years. That is the only way a South-Easterner will become President of Nigeria in 2023.
