BREAKING: Gunmen Abduct Plateau Commissioner’s Wife, Daughter

Gunmen have kidnapped the wife and daughter of the Plateau State Commissioner for Environment, Idi Usman Bamaiyi.

TRIXX NG learnt that the kidnapping took place early today in the Gindiri, Mangu LGA residence of the Commissioner. Armed men reportedly broke into the home and took away his wife and daughter.

Bamaiyi is one of the aspirants for a seat in the House of Representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

It was not clear whether Bamaiyi was at home for the weekend when the incident occurred.

The Gindiri area has been a playground for terrorists in recent weeks. Recall that the Paramount Ruler of Gindiri, His Royal Highness, Charles Mato was recently abducted in the area but released after a ransom was paid.
