BREAKING! House Of Reps Removes Presidential Yacht From 2023 Budget
TRIXX NG reports that the house of representatives has removed the controversial presidential yacht from Nigeria’s 2023 supplementary budget after receiving backlashes on the social media.
The government had planned to spend a whopping N5 Billion on the presidential yacht in the midst of an economic hardship. Although the president’s aide clarified that it wasn’t meant for President Tinubu but the Nigerian navy.
However, Abubakar Bichi, chairman of the house of representatives committee on appropriations, has just revealed that the budget for presidential yacht has been transferred to student loan.
