Trixx NG reports that the university of Benin management have bowed to pressure from students after a N20,000 levy was imposed.

For days, students took to the streets of the institution to protest heavily, blocking the expressway and forcing the school to be on total shutdown.

The school management had ordered that the gates be shut immediately but students didn’t allow and vowed not to rest until the levy is reversed.

Earlier today, the VC of the institution was forcefully evicted from her lodge and made to trek the school gate.

As a result of this, the levy was reversed and removed immediately.
