Buhari Gives Lt Gen. Tukur Buratai Another Appointment After Sacking Him As Chief Of Army Staff

Recently sacked Chief Of Army staff, Gen Tukur Buratai has been given another appointment just few days after he was relieved off his duty.

His name, alongside Gen Abayomi Olonisakin (Rtd ), Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (Rtd), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (Rtd) & Air Vice Marshal Mohammed S Usman (Rtd) has been sent by the President to the senate for approval as non-career ambassadors-designate.

This information was made known by the President’s aide on new media

President @MBuhari has forwarded the names of Gen Abayomi Olonisakin (Rtd ), Lt Gen Tukur Buratai (Rtd), Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (Rtd), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (Rtd) & Air Vice Marshal Mohammed S Usman (Rtd), to the Senate for approval as non-career Ambassadors-Designate.
