Buhari Hosts South African President Ramaphosa In Aso Rock Villa Amid Omicron COVID-19 Threats

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday (today) has received the South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Trixx NG learnt Ramaphosa was given a warm reception with a guard of honour accompanied with a 21-gun salute upon arrival.

Ramaphosa’s vitist to the Villa is coming hours after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control confirmed the first two cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

The South African leader according to the PUNCH, arrived at the Aso Villa at about 10 am today and was received by President Buhari himself.
