‘Cryptocurrency Is Created By People Of The Black World Out Of Thin Air’ – CBN Governor

The governor of the central bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele has said Cryptocurrency was created out of thin air.
This publication gathered that the financial expert made this known during a briefing on why bank accounts used for exchanging cryptocurrencies were shut down some weeks ago.
According to him, the operations of crytocurrency is dark, and can never be trailed which makes it dangerous for any Central bank of any country.

This statement of his has however sparked reactions among Nigerian youths, as most of them blasted him for making such statement
