‘El-Rufai Has The Vision Of Turning A Rotten Situation Into A Bad One’ – Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Video)

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has expressed his confidence in winning the 2023 presidential election.

The former Lagos State governor, while speaking at the Kaduna Investment programme held at the Arewa Hall, Kaduna, the state capital, also showered encomiums on Governor Nasir el-Rufai, saying Nigeria needed a thinker like the Kaduna State helmsman.

The APC national leader jokingly begged Governor El-Rufai to remain in the country beyond 2023 to work with him as he was confident of being the next President after Buhari.

“I will not allow El-Rufai to run away in the name of going for a PhD because El-Rufai’s vision, creativity andresiliency is necessary in turning a rotten situation into a bad one, is necessary at this critical time, ” Tinubu said.

Reacting, el-Rufai said, “I promise to stay even on a part-time basis.”

On the economy, the APC presidential hopeful stressed that his government “will prioritise the ease of doing business, and also ensure steady power supply and distribution.

“Nigeria will succeed and move on to prosperity. I will assemble intelligent Nigerians both men and women for the progress of our country. We will champion an effective government that will block revenue leakages for proper accountability.”
