GOVERNOR MATAWALLE CONDOLES WITH EMIR OF KANO OVER THE DEATH OF HIS MOTHER HAJIYA, MARYAM ADO BAYERO

His Excellency, the Zamfara State Executive Governor Hon. Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle MON (Shattiman Sakkwato) along with his Sokoto state Counterpart, Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal condoled with Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero over the death of his Mother Hajiya Maryam Ado Bayero ( Mai Babban Dakin Kano).

Matawalle said he was shocked when he received the sad news of the passing away of our mother, Hajiya Maryam Ado Bayero and prayed for the repose of her departed soul and make Aljannah Firdausi her final abode

He described her death as a monumental loss to the entire country considering the motherly role she played in the upbringing of many children especially the vulnerable ones.

The Governor also urged the royal father to bear the loss as he believed the deceased is resting in peace.

Responding on behalf of the deceased family, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero thanked the visiting governors for the love and concern shown to the people of Kano Emirate Council.

He said the death of a mother like Hajiya Maryam Maibabban Daki is a loss that every one in the country will feel and recounted how she spent a good life filled with humility, justice, honesty and the worship of Allah Subhanahu wata’ala.

The condolence visit was attended by the Former Deputy Governorof Zamfara, Hon. Muktar Ahmad Anka, PDP State Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani, Honorary Advisor to the governor on inter governmental affairs, Hon. Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, Commissioner of Special Duties, Hon Lawal Abubakar Zanna and Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Lawal Umar Maradun among others.
