I Signed Fireboy, Asake Because I Had Too Much Money – Olamide (VIDEO)

TRIXX NG reports that popular musician, Olamide Adedeji AKA Olamide Baddo has opened up on why he signed Fireboy and Asake to his record label, YBNL.
In an interview that surfaced on the internet, Olamide made it known that he had too much money and felt he needed to spend some of it on new artistes.
He explained that at some point, he started stacking up money and it became too much for him to spend. He mentioned that he didn’t need the money at that time yet more kept on coming therefore, He signed the artistes.
” I started stacking up money and the money was too much and i was like i have nothing to do with this money, i need to sign new guys, let me spend money on people, It’s just my own little way of giving back to the society.”
Olamide has been in the music industry for several years and can be referred to as one of the most successful musicians in the Nigerian music industry. He was discovered by ID Cabasa before he became independent and started his own record label.
Some of the artistes he signed at the beginning were Chinko Ekun, Victoh, Lil Kesh, Lyta and Temmie. He later signed Fireboy and Asake who are currently smashing records in the industry.
