JUST IN: Court Sentence Ex-Minister, 2 Others To Prison For Money Laundering
The Federal High Court sitting in Jos, on Tuesday, sentenced the former minister of Water Resources, Sarah Ochekpe, Raymond Dabo and Evangelist Leo Sunday Jitung to three months imprisonment each.
Sarah Ochekpe
The three defendants have been standing trial for the past four years on charges bordering on conspiracy and money laundering.
Ochekpe was the Minister of water resources from 2011 to 2015.
According to DAILYTRUST, the sentence has an option of N1,000,000 fine.
