JUST IN: Former Police PRO, AIG Donald Awunah Dies In Abuja

A former spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, Assistant Inspector-General (AIG), Donald N. Awunah is dead.

According to reports, the former PRO died in the wee hours of Monday at a private medical facility in Abuja after a brief illness.

The deceased was in charge of Zone 16, Yenogoa in Bayelsa State.

Police spokesman, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi has confirmed the death.

Awunah was formerly a Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO).

He passed away barely three months after Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Joseph Egbunike died.

Meanwhile, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba on Monday condoled with the family and the Nigerian Police Force over the demise of AIG Donald Awunah.
