JUST IN: NDLEA Breaks Silence On Deadly Clash With ‘Area Boys’ On Lagos Island (VIDEO)
TRIXX NG reports that the national drug law enforcement agency (NDLEA) has spoken about the deadly clash with area boys that led to the death of one on Lagos Island today.
News making rounds earlier on had it that NDLEA officials attacked residents of petty area of Lagos Island without stating in clear times what led to it.
In a reaction shared on the agency’s twitter page, it was noted that the officials were on a mission to arrest a drug pumpkin who was later arrested with five others in possession of almost 6,000kg of drugs.
The agency noted that some of the officials were attacked by those who tried to foil the arrest.
