Just In: Police Arrests Nigerian Youth For Using VPN To Access Twitter In Ibadan
TRIXX NG reports that men of the Nigerian police have started apprehending youths who use VPN to access microblogging platform, Twitter after it was banned weeks ago.
It would be recalled that the AGF, Abubakar Malami stated that those that still have twitter on their phones and access it via VPNs are using it illegally and will be prosecuted in caught.
A young man has been arrested in Ibadan for defaulting. According to him, he spent half of his day in the police cell for having twitter on his phone.
