Just In: Sheikh Gumi Mentioned In Zamfara GSS Students Kidnap

TRIXX NG reports that popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Gumi has been mentioned amidst the kidnap of GSS Students in Zamfara.

This publication gathered that some Nigerians have started calling on the Sheikh Gumi to meet with the bandits in order to secure their release as he has done in the last two kidnaps in the north.

Some have also said Sheikh Gumi is in the know of all of this happening, making it known that the Islamic cleric should be arrested

The perfect role Sheikh Gumi should have played in this fight against insurgency is to provide intelligence for security operatives to discover bandit and kidnapper hideouts.

That would have been the most honouring thing to do as a Cleric, not to soft-land their atrocities.
