Lagos Guber Poll: Labour Party Set For Strategic Meeting To Take Over Lagos
As the 2023 Governorship and State House of Assembly Poll gathers momentum, the Labour Party, LP, is not leaving any stone unturned in its quest to take over Lagos State from the ruling Party, All Progressives Congress, APC.
The Labour Party is however planning a strategic meeting on Wednesday to take over Lagos State from the incumbent, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo Olu.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour is the Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party and it is gathered that the Presidential Candidate of the Party, Peter Obi is working tirelessly with stakeholders, mostly South Eastern people to hijack the State from APC.
Information gathered also revealed that the Labour Party is planning to do everything within its reach to win Lagos State from the APC.
Close source to the party presidential candidate told this medium that , Mr Peter Obi believes once they are able to take over Lagos , they can win elections subsequent years.
