Lagos Task Force Breaks Silence On Rumoured Clash With NURTW In Igando
TRIXX NG reports that the Lagos Task Force has broken silence on the reported clash with some men of the NURTW in igando area of Lagos.
In an exclusive chat with TRIXX NG, The Public relation officer of the LASG Task force, Mr Gbadeyinka, it was revealed that there was no clash as purported.
He made it known that officers from the Lagos task force only made an arrest on some vehicles that drove against the traffic and in a way to evade arrest, the culprits mobilized ‘boys’ to inflict violence on the force officials but they were able to make the arrest.
Also, he confirmed that there was no casualties in the process.
‘’ there was no clash between the task force and the NURTW, what happened was that early this morning around 6 O’clock, two vehicles; a private vehicle and one commercial vehicle drove against traffic around Idimu towards Egbeda. Our men and officials accosted them and impounded the vehicles. The driver of the commercial vehicle now mobilized some miscreants and hoodlums to resist the arrest of the vehicle but we were able to use of tactical intelligence to overpower them, there was no casualties, it was just a normal arrest’’
