NEXIM Bank Boss, Stella Okotete Allegedly Parading Fake BIU Result
The Executive Director, NEXIM Bank, Stalla Okotete is said to be parading a fake result from the prestigious Benson Idahosa University (BIU).
A group, Campaign for Transparency Network, CTN, said this in a statement signed by the Programme Director, Ebube Nwanka, on Sunday.
According to the statement, “the University’s record shows that she is a dropout and did not complete her studies.”
The statement continued: “NEXIM Bank is Nigeria’s biggest investment platform and cannot afford to have an Executive Director with a questionable Academic credentials occupying such sensitive position.
“Stella Okotete should as matter of urgency resign from the position to save the image of NEXIM Bank been an excellent Banking organisation.”
Furthermore, CTN called on the Inspector General of Police ( IGP) “to set up a special investigation team to look into this clear case of forgery and a case of national embarrassment to the administration of President Mohammadu Buhari who is doing everything humanly possibly to stop corruption in Nigeria.”
Attempts to speak to Okotete proved abortive at the time of this report.
