Nigerians Rejoice As Twitter Sanctions Buhari For Threatening To Kill Igbos
TRIXX NG reports that Nigerians have taken to their social media pages to celebrate the action twitter took against the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari after he made a post to threaten some citizens in the south east.
President Buhari had said that He will treat those causing mayhem in south east in the language they understand, while referring to the civil war that took place many years ago which claimed many lives.
It is well known that those causing the unrest are IPOB, ESN groups which of course are igbo citizens based.
Due to this threat, Nigerians reported the account of the president, and asked the CEO of twitter to take down the account of the number one citizen of the country.
Fortunately, the tweet of the President has been brought down on twitter, and Nigerians have started rejoicing.

It's really disappointing we wanted #Buhari speak, now he's spoken something unheard of & has been dealt with. He might be the next Trump on this bird app.

Twitter should have ban #Buhari, just like Trump was also ban.
As a Nigerian I was disappointed in his tweet. pic.twitter.com/qz7eUtO2G3— Prince Olim (@PrinnyOlim) June 2, 2021
Thank you @jack for deleting this tweet. Threats of violence/genocide on a public platform and in violation of twitter rules, irrespective of who tweeted, is not to be tolerated. #buhari #jack #dictatorialdemocracy https://t.co/fI4KZoDOhf pic.twitter.com/lx848cTkfo
