No Protester In Sight At Lekki Toll-Gate As Police Continues To Mount Pressure
TRIXX NG reports that there is no protesters in sight at Lekki Toll-Gate as planned by some #EndSARS Convener.
This publication gathered that the protest which is supposed to start by 7 am this morning is yet to begin, probably due to the fear men of the Nigerian police have created in the protesters.
The Nigerian police and Rapid response team had yesterday stormed Lekki Toll-Gate with a handful of officers dressed in a full war attire.
This came after the commissioner of police, Hakeem Odumosu warned that any protest will not be allowed in Lagos today because it is a means to break law and order.
One of the convener of this protest, Omoyele Sowore had also vowed that the protest will continue no matter the threat the police is trying to bring, making it known that the protesters can not be threatened.
However, it seems the protest has suffered huge setback as no protester has been seen yet at the lekki toll gate, except the heavy presence of the Nigerian police
