Ogun Government Distributes Palliative Packages To Victims Of Fulani-Yoruba Crisis
TRIXX NG reports that Ogun governor, Dapo Abiodun has announced that the state just distributed some relief materials to victims of Fulani and Yoruba crisis in the state most especially around Yewa zone.
We recall that for some weeks, the clash between the two tribes has rendered some people homeless and without any form of livelihood. Some also lost their loved ones in the crisis.
Trouble started after Sunday Igboho, a popular freedom fighter visited the area to flush out killer Fulani herdsmen from south west zone.
In a twitter post, the governor revealed that the first batch of relief materials has been distributed
The Peace Committee we inaugurated yesterday and charged to provide relief materials to victims of the herder-farmer crises within 24 hours, today supplied the first batch of food materials, then valued losses for the purpose of compensation. pic.twitter.com/jZdB7pfDyU
