Plane With 113 passengers Bursts Into Flames During Take-Off (Video)

A Chinese plane carrying 113 passengers and nine crew burst into flame on the runway during take-off.

According to reports the front of the Airbus SE A319 aircraft was engulfed in flames and enveloped by thick black smoke.

Passengers carrying bags and other items were seen on the tarmac running away from the burning jet for dear life.

According to a Tibet Airlines statement posted on Weibo, 36 were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, the Civil Aviation Administration of China said.

“According to the flight crew, the plane experienced an anomaly during take-off. They stopped take-off according to procedure.

“After the plane skidded off the runway, the engine scraped the ground and caught fire. By the time (the fire) was out,” Chinese aviation administration CAAC said

Investigation was now being carried out to ascertain the cause of accident.
