Popular Nigerian Archbishop, Samson Mustapha Carries Coffin To ‘Bury’ Slain Deborah Samuel, Asks Her Spirit To Haunt Killers

The general overseer of Resurrection Praise Ministry, Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin has frowned at the negligence of the federal government and Sokoto state government towards serving justice to the unfortunate killing of Deborah Samuel who was murdered for blasphemy against Prophet Mohammed.

Bishop Samson held a street protest to demonstrate his displeasure about the quietness, while carrying a coffin to ‘bury’ the innocent student of Shehu Shagari college of education.

During this demonstration, Bishop Samson called on the spirit of Deborah Samuel to go after her killers and strike them wherever they are because the government has failed to bring them to book.

‘’On the 12th Of May, Deborah Samuel was gruesomely murdered in Sokoto state and up till now, judgment has not been given at any level. This is a coffin for Deborah, I am laying her to rest because the government refused to do anything about those who killed the innocent girl, what was her offence? What did she do when they killed her in a land where there is law, her family has been left to bury their dead. Today I carry this coffin to show to all the people in authority to know that whether they bury her or not, they burnt her, cremated her body without the agreement of the family.’’

‘’As I lay to rest Deborah Samuel, I will say that if the federal government and Sokoto state government are not doing anything, Deborah Samuel go and strike them, chase them everywhere they are because you cannot get justice from the government in power, they have covered up what is wrong and I want to say to Nigerians that a Muslim is in power, he knows what has happened, Deborah Samuel is innocent in the eyes of the law except she is proven guilty by the law. The Law has not proven her guilty before she was murdered and as story had it, they actually took her away from the hands of security officials in Shehu Shagari college of education, they didn’t just killed her, they also burnt her to ashes.’’

‘’Everywhere is quiet about this, nobody is talking but I will not be quiet, Nigerians must fight to get justice for Deborah Samuel because it may be your sister tomorrow. I stand today not to appeal to the government of Nigeria or Sokoto state because they had enough time to ensure justice, she’s innocent.’’

In the same vein, the man of God frowned at the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the All Progressive Congress while reacting to the recent controversy of the party’s presidential candidate hiring fake bishops at an event. He revealed that one of the rented Bishops is his church pastor who betrayed his master and abused the office of the Bishop.

He placed a curse on the APC, Tinubu, and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, making it known that their generations will suffer for it.

‘’God is terribly angry with what they have done and he has sent me to warn them for they have attacked the church and atonement isn’t possible right now because they have already desecrated the altar of Jesus.  The altar of the Christians have been desecrated, this is an abomination.’’

‘’Look at how the priestly office was insulted, we saw bishops, APC bishops with cigarettes in their mouths, what an insult to our altar! I stand and speak not for Christians but sensible Nigerians, if they were right they would have listened to Nigerians and ensured the ticket doesn’t go. If you claim the Christians are not competent, why do you go as far as hiring fake bishops? This is an insult to our office, a man dressed with cassock and a cigarette in his mouth, imagine me on the street holding a cigarette, is that not an insult to the office of a bishop? All those who have insult the office of the bishop will be full of trouble all their days including their family.You will eat and drink shame, you have crossed the line and because of that, you deserve no honour at all.’’

‘’One of the hired Bishops is Pastor David Obi, he worked with me for a long time till I was in Lagos before I transferred him to Ilorin. Pastor David Obi is not a bishop, all of you that desecrated the office of the bishop, fire will come after you and your family, your generation will suffer for desecrating the office of the bishop, enough is enough, and who will these kind of leaders become? If they become leaders they will be liars. Shettima and Tinubu have committed the greatest offence against the altar of Jesus Christ and as a spokesperson of Jesus, I will bring you to your evil.’’
