This allegation is not only misleading but also a desperate attempt to distract the people of Taraba State from Governor Kefas’s numerous achievements.

Governor Kefas’s impressive track record in just over a year in office has earned him the trust and admiration of the majority of Taraba State’s residents. His all-inclusive leadership style and numerous achievements have brought hope to a state that was once plagued by kidnapping, banditry, and unpaid salaries. The people of Taraba State will not forget how Governor Kefas has transformed the state’s ministries, rebuilt the comatose state nursing school, and rehabilitated the dilapidated state secretariat.

The allegation that Governor Kefas neglected the state’s health ministry is far from the truth. Construction work is ongoing in several local government areas where no general hospital existed before or had been abandoned. Governor Kefas has also taken proactive steps to address the security challenges facing Taraba State, convening an expansive State Security Meeting to tackle the issue ¹.

Criticism, for the sake of scoring political points, is not only counterproductive but also dangerous. It is time for the opposition to focus on constructive criticism rather than spreading misinformation. As Governor Kefas continues to deliver on his campaign promises, his detractors will eventually be silenced by his impressive performance.
