Supreme Court Latest Decision On Imo North Senatorial Election Is Good News For PDP Candidate

There has been a latest development on the situation of Imo North senatorial district with the latest decision taken by the supreme court.
The supreme court today took a decision to adjourn indefinitely after the interim chairman of the APC accused the judges of conniving with PDP in order to stop justice from prevailing in the judgments that will be given on who becomes the final winner of the election.
Before this adjournment, the supreme court judges were to sit and rule over an appeal filed by APC and its candidate in the election, Frank Ibezim against the INEC and Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, and another one filed by the APC against four respondents.
It is worthy of note that the December 5 election had two people who paraded themselves as candidate of the APC, they are Frank Ibezim and Ifeanyi Ararume. Unfortunately, before the day of the election, two different court judgment sacked both of them, one of them, Frank Ibezim was sacked because of a certificate forgery case, and the other was sacked because the party didn’t forward his name to the INEC as a candidate. Although, the supreme court has chosen Frank Ibezim as APC candidate, but he is yet to be given the certificate of return because of his certificate forgery case.
Now, with the supreme court adjourning the sitting today till further notice, the PDP and its candidate, Emmanuel Okewulonu are very good advantage because there is time to prove and lay claims to the victory through the election tribunal.
If the election tribunal declares the PDP and its candidate, Emmanuel Okewulonu as winner of the election because of the ineligibility of the APC candidate, the case of the APC in the supreme court will change as they will want to prove that their candidate is the winner, and this will now cause the court to cross examine the documents of the candidate; Frank Ibezim. As we know, he has been unable to free himself off the certificate forgery case, and of course, it will make it very easy for the PDP to win the battle.
If this happens. It will also confirm the word of a popular prophet, Primate Ayodele who had said months ago that the candidate of the PDP will be declared as winner.
