‘’Tinubu Has Confirmed That Bishops At Unveiling Of Kashim Shettima As Running Mate Are Fake’’ – Archbishop Samson Benjamin

TRIXX NG reports that the general overseer of Resurrection Praise Ministry, Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin has said that the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has confirmed that the bishops at the unveiling of Kashim Shettima as his running mate are all fake.

He made this statement at Gani Fawehinmi freedom park where he had challenged the leadership of the APC, Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima to show up in order to defend the authenticity of the Bishops at the unveiling.

It would be recalled that Bishop Samson identified one of the bishops as his pastor whom he posted to the Ilorin branch of his church but betrayed him and committed a sacrilege against the altar of God by presenting himself as a Bishop.

Bishop Samson made it known that with the absence of the APC leadership and candidate at the freedom park, it has automatically been confirmed that the bishops are fake.

‘’There have been many issues going on in the social media and in the country and it has been a serious one for the Christian community. They decided to use fake bishops for the unveiling of the APC running mate, Kashim Shettima. I have been out talking about this because of the desecration of the altar of the Lord Jesus Christ, what they did was wrong by parading the fake bishops who are not bishops of the Christian society of Nigeria and this made me to throw up a challenge that if these bishops are actually right bishops, the APC leadership, the presidential candidate and the running mate should be at the freedom park here today so we can lay this issue to rest but as you can see right now, the whole park is completely empty and this simply means they truly know that the bishops they paraded are fake.’’

He maintained that the APC and its candidate have crossed the line therefore won’t go unpunished for what he described as an abomination.

‘’This they have done, they have crossed the line, committed an abomination and this thing will not just go this way, if they were true bishops, they would have been here with Tinubu and Shettima and the leadership of the APC as I requested that we meet here today.’’

‘’ The muslim-muslim ticket is unacceptable, there is need for a true leader to come out and apologize to the christian society, with what has happened, there is no bias in what the christian community have said. This is an open challenge on a very neutral ground but they failed to show up, this has shown that truly they are wake.’’

Furthermore, Bishop Samson spoke about the voters registration which will be coming to an end tomorrow, while urging INEC to extend the deadline by one week to enable citizens who were threatened by security failure to register.

‘’I will say that the INEC have done their bit but with the kind of crisis we have seen, hoodlums breaking into some centres and carting away the INEC materials, there will be need for the commission to bridge the gap by making other arrangements for those who are disenfranchise by the means of those hoodlums who came to cart way INEC machines to register and get their PVCs. I will urge INEC to shift the day from tomorrow and give another one week for the registration and they should ensure that there is enough security at the centres.’’
