Uproar As Nigerian Law School Student Dies On Campus Due To Alleged Negligence
A student of the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus, Nnena Amadi has died due to alleged negligence from the school’s medical centre.
It was gathered that the deceased had a severe asthma attack on Thursday, August 11, and was rushed to the school’s medical centre.
According to a source, “It was yesterday we found out that she was asthmatic because before she died all she kept saying was ‘I can’t breathe!’.
Our law school’s clinic has only one nurse, instead of giving her oxygen, they gave her injection because they didn’t have oxygen. She was later rushed to another hospital where she was confirmed dead on arrival.
The most painful part of it is that the school is acting nonchalant about it. Nnena lost her dad while she was in law school. He died sometime in April this year.
