JUST IN: Abuja COVID-19 Contractors Block Secretariat, Protest Nonpayment Since 2019
Contractors that supplied COVID-19 medical equipment and items to the Federal Capital Territory Administration have taken over major streets in protest against the partial payment of money allegedly owed them for three years (from 2019).
The protesters blocked the entrance gate of the FCT Minister, causing gridlock and preventing vehicles from accessing the secretariat.
