JUST IN: Oodua Nation ‘Soldiers’ Invade Oyo House Of Assembly, Hoist Flag (VIDEO)
Some masked men suspected to be Yoruba Nation agitators invaded the Oyo Government Secretariat on Saturday and hoisted a flag.
It was gathered that armed men were stationed at strategic points in the Secretariat.
Some were reported to have guarded the entrance to the Governor’s office, while others were observed at the House of Assembly Gate, and yet more were stationed at the main entrance.
Panic spread throughout the area as security personnel on duty attempted to manage the situation.
The identity of the masked men could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
Men of the Police Command and other anti-crime agencies stormed the entrance to the Secretariat in numerous patrol vans.
Operatives of the Oyo security network codenamed Amotekun were said to have also arrived at the gate.
It was learnt that the security men have arrested some of them.
