BREAKING: Lai Mohammed’s Son, Folajimi, Loses Return Ticket To Lagos Assembly
Folajimi Mohammed, son of Minister of Information and Culture, has lost the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for Lagos State House of Assembly.
Folajimi, who represent Ikeja State Constituency 1, failed to secure his re-election ticket in the APC primary held on Friday.
The Minister’s son is representing the constituency for the second time.
While Folajimi polled nine votes in the election, his rival, Seyi Lawal, garnered 15 votes.
Lawal’s supporters jubilated as chairman of the Electoral Committee, Comrade Ewuoso Olamide, declared him the winner of the exercise.
Before the election, there are reports that the lawmaker was chased by his constituents.
