EX – ZAMFARA STATE GOVERNOR ABDUL AZIZ YARI STEPS DOWN FROM CONTESTING THE SEAT OF THE APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN
Report reaching News Express 24 this evening have it that, the former Governor Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari of Zamfara state withdrew from Contesting the National seat of the All progressive Congress APC. the former Governor gave the directive to his former State Assembly Speaker Alh Rikiji today, the former Governor directives reads, ” Tell our teaming supporters to immediately suspend my Campaigns Nationwide for seat of the All progressive Congress APC with immediate effect; “Yari declares.
As at the time of filling this report, the former Zamfara state Speaker Alh. Rikiji did not respond to the series of our phone calls, nor responding to News Express 24 multiple texs messages to hear from him.
Meanwhile, A source who begged for anonymity at the APC National Headquarters said, ” The former Governor is just trying to meets up with our Party, the APC rules and regulations that no candidate with Corruption case should contest for the APC National seat , ” I think the former Governor made the right decision from withdrawing his ambition.
