How Lagos State Government Influenced The Continued Detention Of Baba Ijesha
TRIXX NG reports that popular actor, Omiyinka James popularly known as Baba Ijesha has been denied of his bail application today by the magistrate court.
Despite the fact that he met bail conditions one month ago, and was granted the bail, He was surprisingly denied of the application today.
According to his lawyer, this was due to the fact that the magistrate has no jurisdiction to perfect his bail application because the state government has taken over the case.
The lawyer explained that the government has filed the case at the high court, which means the magistrate cannot influence anything anymore.
Furthermore, it was also revealed that he will be kept in detention till trial begins or at least July 21.
