Imo State NSE Ends Annual Meeting, Eulogizes Governor Hope Uzodinma On Rural Road Construction

Sequel to the 40th meeting of the National Council on Engineering(NSE) imo state chapter which was held from the 20th and 21st of September 2022 in Owerri Imo State of Nigeria, a communique was released which confirmed the award of excellence to nine out of the 29 constructed road by governor hope uzodimma administration of 3R agenda .According to the Technical Secretary of the Imo State chapter of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Kingsley onwubiko, most of road completed was previously suspended by the engineers handling the project due lack of protection allocation of resources and poor engineering management control during the construction of the road .
Investigation shows that the people have been living in adject poverty since most of the links road which are economical important to easy migration for commerce and development have been neglected by past administrations in the state. According to the blue print paper made by the department of works and physical development of road statistical analysis ( DWPD) of imo government, some of the roads that are presently completed by uzodimma in owerri municipal council area are detailed below:
