JUST IN: Man Slumps, Dies While Playing Football In Lagos (Video)

TRIXX NG reports that a yet to be identified 31-year-old man has slumped and died during a football match in the Lekki area of Lagos State.

In a now-viral video, the man could be seen in a Nigerian jeasey passing the ball to his teammate before collapsing on the field.

The Lagos State police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed this in a tweet on Sunday afternoon.

He said, “Yesterday in Lekki, a 31-year-old slumped and died while playing football. Don’t push the limits. When tired, take a rest. Above all, do regular medical check-up. Like we say in the streets, ‘Life no get duplicate.”
