JUST IN: One Dead, Many Injured As Commercial Bus Rams Into SUV, Somersaults In Lekki (Video)
TRIXX NG reports a fatal accident at Marwa intersection in the Lekki area of Lagos.
It gathered that the commercial bus driver ran the red light and collided with the SUV. The bus driver died on the spot while the injured passengers are being treated by LASAMBUS.
An eye witness Ademola Odumesi (@ade_odumesi) on Twitter said, “I just saw an accident scene at marwa bus stop in lekki The white commercial bus had somersaulted, most of the bus badly damaged, dead man on the floor, few injured people and Lotta of onlookers and caregivers Looking like overspeeding kinda situation.”
LCC patrol officers are currently managing the scene while recovery has been activated.
