Okolo Venessa wins Miss Planet Earth

Okolo Vanessa chizzirim, Miss Cross-River, went home with the crown of Miss Nigeria International Pageant, (Planet Earth) The female version.

The pageant which was organised by Brendance and Crusaders Limited, saw 1000 (one thousand) contestants bought forms and were all shortlisted to 13 contestans from Nigeria, ranging from Miss Cross-River, Miss Akwa-Ibom, Miss Kogi, Miss Kwara, Miss Ebonyi, Miss IMO, Miss FCT, Miss Anambra, Miss Delta, Miss Ekiti, Miss Kwara, Miss Ondo, and Miss Lagos.

The event was held at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo Civic centre Ekiti state, saw top politician, student, Business men and women, Government Parastatals who came in their numbers to witnessed the event.

Okolo Venessa chizzirim, A 300 level Biochemistry undergraduate of Enugu state University, showed excellent composure in all her deliveries, from her Dinner Gown, Traditional attire, Casual dress and her boldness was just a top notch.

When asked, what is your understanding about climate change? She has this to say
“Climate change is an existential problem caused mostly by human activities and green house gases,this include
Carbon dioxide Nitrous oxide Methane Etc.”
She also appreciated all her fans and those who voted for her. In her words ” I want to use this medium to thanks and appreciate God Almighty for his grace, my family for thier supports, to everybody thanks a million. I saw this crown, as a golden opportunity to express my love toward my planet earth and it’s environment”

The Enugu state born Queen, Okolo Venessa,
Will represents Nigeria in Miss Planet Earth next year, endorsement deals from different brands, Also a trip to represent Nigeria in the global stages.

The event was facilitated by the Ekiti state Ministry of Art Culture and Tourism.
