TRIXX NG reports a viral video showing moments angry residents allegedly chased a member of Niger State House of Assembly with stones.
It learnt that the yet-to-be-identified representative visited his constituency to commiserate with victims of banditry.
Niger State is among the northern states banditry has been ravaging.
Recall on Tuesday 15 March 2022, suspected bandits attacked Nasko village in Magama Local Government Area of Niger State killing a divisional police officer, two other policemen, and four vigilante members.
The state governor Abubakar Sani-Bello during a visit to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), at the Central Primary School, Gwada recently revealed that Bandits have taken over 12 local government areas in Niger.
“We have almost 4,000 IDPs displaced by banditry and the construction of Zungeru dam,” he said
