Ekiti 2022: Bamisile Opens Up On Next Action After APC Primary

One of the governorship aspirants, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Hon. Femi Bamisile has said that he will not defect to another political party based on the outcome of the last primary election of the party.

Bamisile, who is a member of the House of Representatives, gave the assurance while speaking with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti.

Bamisile also said that he has resolved to support the candidature of the former Secretary to the Ekiti State Government, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, the winner of the primaries in the overall interest of the party.

The former gubernatorial aspirant posited that he equally consulted widely with members of his constituency, his family, friends and political associates before deciding to back out of certain actions that might not be positive for the party.

He urged all his supporters across the 177 wards in the state to remain calm and support the candidate of the party in the forthcoming election, saying “there is still a lot ahead of us”.
